Cap Lining Machines |

MMC Cap Lining Machines (also known as wadding machines) are designed and manufactured to stamp out lining material disks from rolls of material and install the disks into your caps at rates up to 1,200 caps/minute, depending upon cap size and design.
We have tooling capable of cutting and installing various types of disk configurations: |
 |
Round
Most common disk configuration used for all glued liners and thicker liners (.020” / .5mm thick) that are installed under a retention feature, or threads, in the closure; view cutting pattern |

 |
Tri-Tab
Originally developed to offer retention properties for installing oversize, non-glued in-disks into a closure that is unscrewed off the mold. The tri-tab also offers centering properties which enhance the induction sealing process by having the disk centered on the container land area during sealing; view cutting pattern |
 |
 |
Pull-Tab
A single protruding tab, which is folded back during the cap lining process. This tab offers convenient removal for induction sealed foils; view cutting pattern |

 |
Donut
Used in specially designed caps that have a dispensing feature or orifice. The donut shape helps prevent leaks and still allows product to be dispensed; view cutting pattern |

 |
Double Lining
Each of our machines is capable of having two materials (of the same diameter) installed into the closure in one. The materials are fed together through the machine to the punching station where they are punched together into the closure.
Oval Liner
Does your cap have a special shape & size? Send us a cap sample and lining material sample and one of our specialists will be happy to inform you about the cutting and the insertion capabilities of our Lining Machines. view cutting pattern |
