MMC Packaging Equipment is pleased to announce that Mrs. Christiane El-Tekly has been appointed as General Manager as of June 15th, 2018 and has taken on leadership of the Canadian facility specialized in the design and manufacturing of post-molding automation equipment for the cap and closure industry.

Since joining MMC in 2013, Mrs. El-Tekly has held a senior position as Director of Operations overseeing engineering, assembly, project management, R&D as well as after-sales services. Her leadership was especially instrumental to the growth of MMC in managing and in reaching record numbers of projects within the last fiscal periods but most importantly, in successfully guiding the technical team in the development and deployment of “Industry 4.0” technology on the company’s automation equipment.

“I have great confidence that Christiane will bring continued success to MMC Packaging,” says Philippe McNally, President & Owner of MMC.

As a dedicated professional with over 17 years of experience, Mrs. El-Tekly’s first career steps were in new product development, R&D and project management, and quality system implementation in a technological environment. All this acquired expertise was put into practice for several years when she worked as a director for a major consulting firm.

“I am honoured to be appointed to the position of General Manager. My main objective is to bring common vision throughout the company with the help of my management team. I am surrounded by incredibly talented people who are as passionate as I am about their work. I look forward to leading the team to reaching new technological advancements that will make a positive impact to all our customers in the cap & closure industry.” says Mrs. El-Tekly.
Mrs. El-Tekly holds a B.Sc in Physics from Concordia University and a MEng in Industrial Engineering (specialization in Technological Project Management) from the École Polytechnique de Montréal. She is a member of PMI and PMI-Montreal, and annually sits on the Elixir Prize Selection Committee for PMI-Montreal.

Please join us in congratulating her!
